彭于发的个人简介
中国农科院博导，男，1960年1月出生，湖北江陵人，研究员。1981年毕业于华中农业大学，1984年12月毕业于中国农业科学院研究生院。曾3次以访问学者身份赴美国、澳大利亚进修和合作研究。
人物成就
从事植物病虫害生物学、生物防治和转基因生物安全性研究工作，曾主持和参加荧光假单胞菌防治小麦全蚀病、转基因植物生物安全监测与评价等项目的科研工作，现主持973基础研究项目"农业重要转基因生物安全性研究"和863课题"转基因水稻环境安全研究"等。发表研究论文、编著、综述评论等各种著作80篇（部），拥有发明专利1件，获省、部级科技进步奖2项。
社会兼职
现任生物安全研究中心首席科学家、主任，《国家重点基础研究发展规划？quot;农业重要转基因生物安全性研究"项目首席科学家。中国农科院学术委员会委员，中国植物病理学会副理事长，国家农业转基因生物安全委员会副主任委员，中国进出境动植物检疫风险分析委员会委员，中国农业科学院植物保护研究所研究员等。2016年6月12日当选第五届农业转基因生物安全委员会委员。

YufaPeng is professor and director at the Center for Biosafety Research, Institute of Plant Protection, ChineseAcademy of Agricultural Sciences at Beijing. He is well experienced withbiosafety research and regulation of crops derived from modernbiotechnology. His major emphasis inrecent years has been on developing methodologies for safety assessment ofgenetically modified organisms (GMOs) and understanding the biological andecological interactions between crops and its pests or pathogenicmicroorganisms. He is an overall coordinator for several national projects on biosafetyassessment and management of genetically modified (GM or transgenic) plants. Heis a member of the National Biosafety Committee in the Peopleu2019s Republic of China,director of the Chinese Society for Plant Protectionu2019s Committee on Biosafety,and vice-president of the Chinese Society for Plant Pathology. He also acts as Chinese delegate for Codex AdHoc Intergovernmental Task Force on Foods Derived from Biotechnology and in theexpert group of the Cartagena Protocol on Biosafety in Biotechnology for China. HereceivedhisB.Sc. in Agronomy from CentralChinaAgriculturalUniversity in 1981 and his M.Sc. inplant pathology from ChineseAcademy of AgriculturalSciences in 1984.
